Please take me off the naughty list, too!

Hello, all!  So sorry to be absent for so long!  I am almost caught up with blocks,  I just need to make it to the post office!

Melina--I'll just hold onto this until you get back to the Fort unless you'd like it sooner?
And as soon as I can figure out how to applique without a raw edge, I'll finish up these hearts.  Any suggestions?

I hate to say it, but think that I need to bow out of the next round.  My intentions are always so good, but I just don't have the time to give this that it deserves.  I can't wait to play with some Kaffe for Viv, too!

My sherbet pips quilt from January  is still missing 3 of it's blocks as well.  If you don't have time to make the blocks, I'll happily take the fabric back .

Thanks to you all for your patience!!

Tara

  2. Oh Tara, I have mine...still! I am too ashamed to take pics, but the envelopes are going out today and tomorrow. I feel the same way Tara, great intentions and then before you know it, months have gone by. I want to finish this bee off but feel you ladies deserve more then what I am giving.

Sorry that two of you won't be remaining with us for another round but life happens and only you know what you can manage.

  5. Hi Tara! those look great, good job. I don't know how to help you with the heart blocks...I did mine raw edge but with a hand stitched blanket stitch. Geez I better get my photo up for everyone to see sometime.

  6. Thanks Tara, I love my block and the words, very cool, you know me ;)
    Your blocks are great!
I am doing some appliqué right now and I was doing raw edges and a 'quilting stitch' so hearing and reading about the needleturn technique will save me.
See you soon in the Fort!
Sorry so many of us are dropping out, I understand too though (going through two unexpected moves myself in 8 months)! I would love to stay in if I am still accepted in the group...
I should be all back and settled in Colorado in a month. You can keep my block until then Tara or drop it by my house if you want, Brian is there already.
