Ready, Set......

this is it ladies, we're nearly ready to go...!
Just a question first though...

I'd like to make this quilt for my bee quilt....

...but it would mean that you would make three two blocks each..!! Basically it's just a nine patch with a twist ;o) but it needs every one to make three two blocks so you can mix them up!

edit: I've just had another look at the pattern and size and two blocks will work equally as well so I think that's what I'll go with!!

the blocks will finish up at a fraction over 13" so a great size quilt. the nine patch is made from charm squares so there is no cutting until you come to cut up the finished block.

You can check it out here at the Moda Bake Shop...

I have 'Mama Said Sew' charm squares that I'd want to use, think it should look awesome in those reds, greys and blacks!!

I just need to know if you're all okay with that and if you're all able to access the bake shop or will I post you all a copy of the pattern? I would like to put the packs together on Saturday as I have the day off, and post on Monday. So if you could let me know by perhaps Friday that would be great..

Getting excited to start now....

  2. so pretty....I'll make more than two if you send me the packet. I do not have a very nice LQS near me so I am not sure where I would get the right fabric.
I can not wait to get started.

  3. I love the Mama Said Sew line. I had to restock it in my shop, (shameless plug), and still have some left https://www.etsy.com/listing/104314350/mama-said-sew-charm-pack. I'm not near but I am nice, hee, hee, hee!

  4. Hmm, I see my shameless plug didn't publish! It's my etsy shop, soggybottomflats.etsy.com Lizzie, I have an appointment today for my GI doctor, but I can work something out for the ladies. If anyone wants to split charms, I can accommodate that. The postage would be a lot less that way for ya'll out of country. I'll be back this evening, leave messages, no problem. I hope this helps some of you ladies. Elaine

  7. Since it is such an easy block, it's no problem at all. I think it will make a great looking quilt.
