I was excited about making Kate's block, how different and I love half square triangles...
I have quite a bit of Civil War fabric so that worked out well..

Lizzie your blocks are so pretty. I have to make Kates block this week. We have our 3 year old here for a few days while his mom and dad go to California for a conference. He keeps us busy and we love it.
