Have I confused you all..?
Good morning again everyone, I don't think I explained myself very well yesterday. I don't expect anyone to buy the fabric as I have it all already! Thank you for the offer Elaine but I'm happy to post, it's only a small envelope...
I just needed to check that you would all be happy to access the pattern from the bake shop not the fabric....

I think that I'll just print it out and pop it in the envelope anyway... Don't you just love Sweetwater fabric..?
So I should be posting on Monday my time, hope you all have a fabulous weekend...
(another photo taken from the bake shop, so still not the actual Mama Said Sew fabric)

Ready, Set......
this is it ladies, we're nearly ready to go...!
Just a question first though...
I'd like to make this quilt for my bee quilt....

...but it would mean that you would makethree two blocks each..!! Basically it's just a nine patch with a twist ;o) but it needs every one to make three two blocks so you can mix them up!
edit: I've just had another look at the pattern and size and two blocks will work equally as well so I think that's what I'll go with!!
the blocks will finish up at a fraction over 13" so a great size quilt. the nine patch is made from charm squares so there is no cutting until you come to cut up the finished block.
You can check it out here at the Moda Bake Shop...
I have 'Mama Said Sew' charm squares that I'd want to use, think it should look awesome in those reds, greys and blacks!!
I just need to know if you're all okay with that and if you're all able to access the bake shop or will I post you all a copy of the pattern? I would like to put the packs together on Saturday as I have the day off, and post on Monday. So if you could let me know by perhaps Friday that would be great..
Getting excited to start now....

Introducing.......
...me!
Hello everyone, I'm Liz or Lizzie to my blogging friends and I live in a tiny village in the hills west of Melbourne, Australia . I'm a passionate photographer, a quilter who hand quilts, I love playing around on the computer and I taught computer until a few weeks ago, I absolutely adore my nine (and a bit that's due in July) grandchildren, I work/play in a patchwork and quilt shop in a small country town 10kms from my home and love it. There's a link on my personal blog to Millrose, so if you want to keep up with what I'm up to you can go there...
I've been with this Bee since we started it, I think four years ago now and I've made some great friends here and hope to make many more.
I really love blogging too and you can find me here at my 'house in the country' or at a couple of my photography blogs 'back to black' and 'photographs I heart', I just need to have another day in the week so that I can fit everything in..!
I've given the blog a bit of a facelift today, I hope you all like it, you can find the blog roll, a list of whose month it is and the followers list at the bottom of the page. There will only be three (3) posts to a page to make loading quicker, if you put your name and country as a label when you post that will make it easier to know who is who. I'll be taking care of the blog still so if you have any problems here let me know, for those of you that are new this year, I'll be adding your names today so you'll get an invite to join from blogger. You'll need to accept that before you can post here. Also if you're new could you send me a link to your personal blog so that I can put you in the blog roll...
I'm looking forward to meeting all the new members through this blog and I'll be sending out fabric etc by the middle of January. Please remember when you post to us Aussies that it can take up to three weeks to reach us sometimes (especially Sue who lives at the end of the earth.. ;o)
Nice to meet you all and don't forget to have fun.......
