Question - Kaffe Fassett

I have a question!!!! Me, me, me, over here!!!!

Do you have Kaffe Fassett fabric in your stash? I'm thinking ahead to my month and remembered that I picked up some fat quarters that our quilt shop brought in special at Christmas...it's not a designer they carry.

Do you visit the blog Material Obsession? http://www.materialobsession.typepad.com/

It seems a lot of their favourites fall in the Kaffe Fassett fabrics or something similar and I love it. It's wild and kooky.

Anyhoo...just asking in case I have to find a Canadian source and get some in before...what am I September?

Vivian

  1. Definitely Kaffe in my collection.
My block inspiration was a quilt from one of the Material Obsession books. Love Cathy's work and the blog is so full of inspiration.

  4. The best Canadian source I know for for Kaffe Fassett is Hyggeligt Fabrics in London, ON at http://www.hyggeligt.ca/. Hamel's Fabrics in BC also carries them at http://www.hamelsfabrics.com/. However, it's a lot cheaper to buy from the US. My favourite source is Quilt Home at http://quilthome.com/ -- they have the biggest selection. Another good one is Canton Village Quilt Works at http://www.cvquiltworks.com/shop/.

  9. Oh wow I love the selection at Hyggeligt and I've picked out some fabric. I have to wait till the end of the month to order it but I'm going for it. I picked out some crazy reds and purple and one gorgeous yellow. I have a block in mind, I'll either plan it out or find an online version before september. Fortunately this shop is here in Canada so it's already made most of the journey up here LOL. Only a little bit further to make it to the Yukon.

When I get it figured out, if you want a reason to go shopping for Kaffe Fassett locally I'm not going to stop you. Have fun and include some in my block! LOL.

thank you Jen and pbach1 for the sources!!!
