Morning everyone-
I cannot believe it is already the end of February. March is my block month but I will be delayed in posting them I'm sorry. I am nearly there with the cutting and instructions but with the devastation in Christchurch my focus has been redirected. With being such a small country is has affected us all in some way. Our thoughts and love go out to everyone affected, especially to those who have lost dear ones and those families who have loved ones missing.
Our mail goes through Christchurch and so there is a big delay but they will arrive-please bear with me.

Oh, Marls, what can we do to help besides send cyber hugs?
ReplyDeleteAll thoughts here have been for our neighbours *over the ditch* and the fabric will arrive when it gets to us. Hearing the body count rise every day breaks my heart, stay strong..

Oh Marls, it is just such a time isn't it? I've sent an email out to an old internet friend of mine that I used to correspond regularly with, her husband works in Christchurch but comes home on weekends, sometimes she visits up there. I haven't heard back but I'm hopeful it's just internet access, etc.
ReplyDeleteThe fabric will come eventually, we're not stressing about it at all. You take care. ((hugs)). Viv
It is such a tragedy. Poor Christchurch with its beautiful buildings ruined and beautiful people suffering so much.
ReplyDeleteFabric and blocks will happen in due time.
Hugs from me Marls.
Geez Marls, my heart really breaks for you and your beautiful country. Please stay strong, and please let us all know how you are doing. Is there ANYTHING we can do for you? Hugs and prayers, Elaine
ReplyDeleteMarls. Sending hugs and prayers your way.
ReplyDeleteOh Marls, I'm so sorry this awful thing has happened in your beautiful country!! I am a MAJOR Lord of the Rings geek and a total Peter Jackson and Weta Workshop devotee. I fell in love with the land and people of New Zealand through watching (over and over!) all the hours of movies and special features of the LOTR trilogy. Such goodhearted, down to earth and talented people all in one beautiful place! And now blogging has introduced me to New Zealand's talented quilters! Peace be with you and yours!
ReplyDeleteIn stitches,
