Woohoo! They look great. I guess it'll still be quite a while before any fabric gets here. I'm even more remote than the most remote city in the world!
Quite striking. Hope I can do as well. Bit like you Sue-bottom of South Island, NZ, will take a while for the mailman to deliver the fabric-will be watching that letterbox!!
Oh that looks wonderful! I can't wait. And trust me ladies, hands down my fabric took the longest to get to me last round LOL. We're all so extreme this go round, its like we are all on the edges of the world.
Elaine, I put your blocks in the mail today.. You should get them in about 2 days. I did not square them up because you mentioned that you wanted to do that. Hope you like them. b
Wahoo, I can't wait! You're right about the squaring up, no problem for me. I sure couldn't have asked for a better group of ladies to quilt with, thanks, Elaine
I just received the blocks from BeeBee....lusciousness abounds here! I can't believe how much I love the citron like green. Thanks girl, you made my day, Elaine Did I mention.....they are perfect!
What great 9 patch blocks. Using scraps to make these blocks is so great. You can see my red and aqua 9 patch here. http://apassionforapplique.blogspot.com/2010/07/red-and-aqua.html thanks so much for stopping by blog via Teresa.
Hi fellow bees... I have loved being in this group. I changed the URL for my blog (Beebee's Quilts and More) the new URL for this blog is: http://beebeesquiltsandmore.blogspot.com/
I hope everyone can still find me. The other URL was too hard for me to remember when I wanted to tell friends about it. This way the URL matches the name of the Blog.

I think the fact that we are so widespread makes it even more exciting-might take longer for the blocks to travel but I'm sure we can cope with that!!

Elaine, I am so happy you like them. I am ready for the next one!...Sue, what are you planning to send us in December?
ReplyDeleteElaine, your fabric arrived yesterday! I'll be working on them this weekend, after I try to figure out which of my oranges will work.
ReplyDeleteWow, Viv, you weren't last this time, I'll check the mail later today, hopefully it will be here...
