Do we have syrup, too?

I taught in Burton OH for 6 years. Burton is the home of one of the most prolific sugar bushes in northern Ohio. For those who don't know, a sugar bush is the term given to the operation of turning maple tree sap into maple syrup. In Burton, the sugar bush is located in the center of the town circle, in a log cabin. So, since this was a log cabin block, I'm wondering if we get maple syrup, too?:-)

This was fun! I'm not sure I did it right because I've seen two or three ways of creating log cabin blocks in different books. What I know is that I like it a lot, and may have to try doing a lap quilt or something in this block. I'm not sure why, but I seem to have more leftovers than the rest of you, can someone explain? Anyway, here's my contribution to the November challenge. Can't wait to see what else people come up with this month.

  1. Syrup would be nice, eventhough I am a Nutella fan myself ;-)
